The AAP-01 is easy to maintain thanks to its modular design. Here are the key points:
Bolt and O-Ring Lubrication
- Disassemble the upper by separating the pin
- Remove the bolt and recoil spring guide
- Apply silicone oil on the nozzle and bolt O-rings
- A drop on the bolt rails where it slides
- Reassemble and cycle the slide several times to distribute
- Every 3-4 game days or every ~1000 shots
- Never use WD-40 on GBBs — it damages O-rings

Inner Barrel Cleaning
Run a cleaning rod with a microfibre patch through the inner barrel. A drop of silicone spray on the patch, 2-3 passes, then a dry patch. Do this every 5-10 game days or when you notice accuracy loss.
