The collar nut is made from EN AW 7075 aerospace-grade duralumin and, once tightened, seals the inner barrel very firmly. No excessive force is needed when installing the collar nut—apply only light pressure; otherwise, the inner barrel may rotate inside the Hop-Up chamber.
