Usually ready in 24 hoursThe AGM NVG-40 is a dual-channel night vision system. The AGM NVG-40 features high-quality multi-coated optics available on the consumer market and is built to last with a lightweight and durable housing. The device is built around commercial-grade Gen 2+ image intensifier tubes, offering a very attractive price/performance ratio. The bright light cut-off function ensures that your high-quality electronics are protected. The NVG-40 is also equipped with manual gain control, which adjusts image brightness, allowing you to customize your night vision experience during the most demanding adventures. It operates on a single AA alkaline battery or a CR123A battery and can run for up to 20 hours. It is also equipped with an integral infrared illuminator for reading in the dark.
For hands-free use, the NVG can be mounted on various mounts such as the AN/PVS-7D, AN/PVS-14, AN/PVS-7A/C, AN/PVS-15, and AN/PVS-18 mounts, or on mounts with a mini-rail interface.
The NVG Interface Shoe (pre-installed) is used to mount the NVG to a standard helmet or a dovetail-type headset mount. The Bayonet/Horn Interface Shoe (included) is used to mount the NVG to a standard helmet or a bayonet/horn-type headset mount. The NVG Interface Shoe with Connector (optional) is used to mount the NVG-40/NVG-50 to standard dovetail-type headset and helmet mounts and to connect the battery. The Mini-Rail Interface Shoe is used to mount the NVG on mini-rail interface mounts. The Mini-Rail Interface Shoe is included in the AGM W Goggle Kit and the AGM Helmet Mount.
