MDRX - V2 - Black & FDE

The Desert Tech MDR-X-V2 stands for Micro Dynamic Rifle Extreme. This is a relatively new rifle, as it was introduced in 2018 in an attempt to compete in the United States Army’s Next Generation Squad Weapon program to replace standard U.S. infantry weapons. Although it lost to the SIG MCX Spear, it still gained significant attention within the firearms community and remains highly sought after, as it is a fully ambidextrous bullpup rifle capable of handling multiple calibers with ease.

The Silverback MDR-X is fully licensed by Desert Tech and is a faithful airsoft replica of the real steel firearm. Externally, the MDR-X is made from high-quality polymer and aluminum, just like the real firearm, allowing it to remain relatively lightweight, weighing only 2.7 kg unloaded. The rifle features fully ambidextrous controls, a top Picatinny rail, an M-Lok handguard, and a 14mm threaded outer barrel, making this airsoft gun highly modular as accessories and muzzle devices can be easily mounted.

Internally, this rifle is packed with features, including a quick-change spring system. Silverback includes two additional springs in the box, one rated at 100 Newton and another at 60 Newton, allowing you to swap springs on the fly to meet different field power regulations. The hop-up adjustment has an audible click and offers 32 positions for precise hop tuning. This airsoft replica also features an 18:1 gear set and a short-type high-torque motor and is compatible with 11.1V batteries.

Please note that the battery compartment in this airsoft gun only supports AK-style stick batteries.
