Enhanced Polymer Magazine EPM 1 (150rd - OD) 2023 Update

The PTS® Enhanced Polymer Magazine, or EPM for short, is a new type of mid-capacity polymer magazine for AEG airsoft replicas. The EPM is a truly unique magazine, both inside and out. Externally, it features a Dupont Zytel polymer shell with recessed panels for improved grip and unique guides on the magazine neck that reduce snagging when removing or reinserting the magazine into pouches or mag carriers.

The mock 5.56 round window is not just for decoration. When the magazine is fully loaded, an orange follower appears at the base of the transparent window. This is a distinctive and exclusive EPM design feature, allowing the user to immediately know when the magazine is fully loaded and ready for use. It also serves as a visual indicator for when to stop loading the magazine.

Another notable feature of the magazine is the baseplate. The underside of the baseplate has been designed with an angled surface and a rubberized coating on the bottom face. This combination allows the user to rest the airsoft gun on a flat shooting surface with greater contact and traction, providing enhanced stability. The surface angle has been minimized to remain functional while still being comfortable when holding the magazine or removing it from pouches, without interfering with the closure of flap-style mag carriers. Additionally, the front of the baseplate has been designed with a ridged edge that makes it easier to extract the magazine from deep pouches and helps the user properly orient it during handling.
