Installation

SandGrips are manufactured with extreme precision—tolerances of just 0.05 mm. Installation takes only minutes.

1. Ensure your long gun is unloaded before installation! Remove the magazine from the magazine well and check the chamber before beginning work. Always follow general firearm safety rules!

2. Clean the areas of your long gun that will be covered by the SandGrips. Use a cleaner that won’t damage your weapon’s surface. For optimal adhesion, the surface must be completely grease-free.

3. Before removing the transfer film, place the SandGrips on the mounting points to check fit. Once satisfied with positioning, remove the transfer film and begin application.

4. Heat one SandGrip until soft and flexible—a hair dryer works well. Avoid touching the adhesive surface. Once softened, place it in the desired position and press firmly to eliminate air bubbles.

5. Repeat heating and pressing until satisfied with the fit. Don’t worry—you can remove them later without leaving residue! Congratulations, your long gun now has a grip that won’t slip!
