The Stalker AAP-01 U-Hop bucking is designed to fit AAP-01 and AAP-01C models and is specifically engineered to perform optimally with both the original (stock) nozzle and the CowCow nozzle, while still allowing the blowback unit to fully close—unlike other buckings that struggle to fit with the CowCow nozzle. This blowback unit closing issue occurs because the original nozzle and the CowCow nozzle have different diameters. Therefore, we have designed a bucking that fits both nozzles perfectly and allows the blowback unit to close completely.

It is important to have the correct bucking inlet size to prevent the nozzle from sticking inside the bucking. If your nozzle remains stuck in the bucking for too long during cycling, it disrupts the timing of the full movement cycle of all reloading components, which resets your pistol to load and fire another BB. For the best cycling and feeding timing of your system, we recommend using this specific AAP-01 bucking.

The U-Hop features the same internal contact patch as the famous SR-Hop bucking, but the U-Hop provides a greater maximum adjustment range and therefore works better with nubs that move vertically into the bucking, such as in most TDC hop-up units.

It has perfectly balanced material properties, design, and patch adjustment to ensure optimal BB flight trajectory performance. We wanted to achieve the longest possible lift travel from the bucking, so we extended the front section of the hop patch, as shown in the product photos. This shape is U-shaped, which is why we call this bucking the U-Hop rubber.
