Sionyx Aurora Standard Digital Night Vision Camera

Aurora STANDARD (or Aurora CLASSIC) is "the origin of SiOnyx" and can still display vivid colors at night, even in the slightest amount of residual light. The night vision camera offers full-color night vision and achieves unprecedented residual light amplification. The Aurora is an upgrade from the Aurora Black and is equipped with many additional features to assist you on the darkest nights, including GPS and a compass.

The SiOnyx Aurora Standard, also known as Aurora Base or Aurora Classic, is capable of displaying color images during the day, at dusk, and at night (and monochrome if desired). These are projected onto a full-color OLED display. In addition, color night vision provides a much more natural reproduction, as it allows you to see the same environment as it appears during the day. This completely transforms your viewing experience compared to classic green or black-and-white night vision. The camera is discreet and does not emit an infrared beam that could reveal your position. Vivid colors help you observe your surroundings and identify objects more easily. The camera features 0.5x optical magnification, which can be increased up to 3x with digital zoom. The standard 0.5x magnification ensures you see a wider field of view and effectively "zoom out."

Photo and Video to Your Preference
The camera allows you to take photos according to your own preferences. For example, you can set the photo shutter speed from 1.5 s to 1/8000 s, as well as adjust video frame rates up to 60 fps for HD recordings. You can also select multiple recording modes such as HDR, self-timer, time-lapse, panorama, and burst mode. The built-in EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) compensates for camera movement and corrects blur. You can store your recordings on a microSD card (not included).

Streaming and Remote Control
All SiOnyx cameras can be connected to an Apple or Android device (phone or tablet) via Wi-Fi. Once you have the free SiOnyx Aurora app, you can remotely control the night vision camera, stream live images, and capture/share recordings. If you wish to operate the SiOnyx remotely, you can mount it on any standard tripod using the 1/4" threaded connection (see optional accessories).

The SiOnyx Aurora is extremely suitable as an accessory for, for example, airsoft, yachting, security, and navigation. You can use the camera handheld or mount it to a helmet (night vision goggles), as well as remotely control and stream live footage to your smartphone or tablet. The Aurora is primarily aimed at demanding users, as the model offers many additional functionalities. For example, the ability to add a time or location stamp to your recordings can be essential.

With the SiOnyx Aurora, you can also quickly switch between night vision and your natural view. Because the camera is also recoil-rated, you can mount the Aurora to a weapon (via the optional Picatinny rail mount). If you want to maintain visibility even when there is no residual light, an optional infrared illuminator is available.
