Les canons Guren sont fabriqués en acier au carbone de précision et traités avec un revêtement HV500.
Cette platine renforce la dureté de surface, la rendant supérieure à celle de l'acier inoxydable (classée entre HV200 et 400).
Les canons Guren comportent une rainure monocoupée pour les chambres AEG et une couronne taillée à l'extrémité du canon.
Ce canon est compatible avec les écussons/buckings R-hop. Les coupes du canon sont carrées à 90 degrés au fond, et les bords de la fenêtre sont taillés à 45 degrés pour être doux pour le bucking.
