NVG-40 NW1 – Dual Tube Night Vision Binoculars/Goggles with Gen 2+ "Level 1", P45 White Phosphor IIT

The AGM NVG-40 is a dual-channel night vision system. The NVG is built with a compact composite housing for enhanced durability and features advanced multi-coated optics. The device can be equipped with a high-performance Gen 2+ or Gen 3 image intensifier tube (IIT). The bright light cut-off function ensures that the high-quality photocathode tube is protected.

The NVG is also equipped with Manual Gain Control, which adjusts image brightness, providing the highest possible image quality even in changing light conditions. It operates on a single AA alkaline battery or a CR123A battery and can run for up to 20 hours. It is also equipped with an integrated infrared illuminator for reading in the dark.

• NVG Interface Shoe (pre-installed) is used to mount the NVG to a standard dovetail-type helmet mount and headset.
• Bayonet/Horn Interface Shoe (included) is used to mount the NVG to a standard bayonet/horn-type helmet mount and headset.
• NVG Interface Shoe with Connector (optional) is used to mount the NVG-40/NVG-50 to standard dovetail-type helmet mounts and headsets and to connect the Battery Pack.
• Mini-Rail Interface Shoe is used to mount the NVG to mounts with a mini-rail interface. The Mini-Rail Interface Shoe is included in the optional AGM Goggles Kit W and AGM Helmet Mount.
